Tummy Tuck

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

A tummy tuck is designed to create a flatter, firmer abdominal area by removing excess skin and tightening weakened abdominal muscles.

This procedure is especially helpful for patients who have experienced:

  • Pregnancy
  • Significant weight loss
  • Loose or stretched abdominal skin
  • Separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti)

During a tummy tuck, excess skin and fat are removed and the underlying abdominal muscles are repaired and tightened. This helps restore a smoother contour to the midsection while improving core support.

Many patients find that clothing fits more comfortably and their abdomen feels stronger and more toned after recovery.

A tummy tuck is not a weight-loss procedure. Instead, it is intended for patients who are near their goal weight but want to address loose skin or muscle separation that cannot improve through exercise alone.
